Winter Concert

  • 6298 Radcliffe Dr San Diego, CA 92122 (map)

Schedule

Below is the schedule shows arrival, set-up, and performance times for each group. Limited auditorium space means not all music students can attend every performance, so I have organized the five groups into three “Acts”:

Act 1 – Beginning and Advanced Orchestra.  Performing separately.

Act 2 – Cadet Band and then Jazz Band.  Performing separately.

Act 3 – Advanced Band.

Please stay through your student’s entire act, then leave the auditorium to make room for other parents. For example, if your student performs in Act 1, remain until Act 1 ends. Breaks between groups within each act will be minimal, with a brief period between acts for audience entry and exit.  If your student performs in consecutive acts, you may remain seated.

Refreshments, treats, and pizza will be sold bake-sale style in front of the auditorium. I will also broadcast the performance live outside for viewers.

I apologize for the complicated instructions; this is the best arrangement I have found for our small auditorium. Our Spring Concert will be outdoors at the Pavilion in Standley Park, where all groups will perform at the same time.

Concert Dress

Dress is Blue Polo shirts with black pants / skirt on the bottom.  Please no Sneakers. Or Ugg boots.

The Jazz Band will use their Jazz Shirts for all groups along with nice black pants / skirt on the bottom.

Obviously, I will not kick anyone out of the concert if their uniform is not exactly correct, but please try to get close.  🙏

Concert Bake Sale

We will have a fundraising bake sale out front of the auditorium.  I will be open at 5pm and close at the end of the night, or when we run out of refreshments.  The Music Boosters is getting the Pizza, Coffee and hot Chocolate.  We are looking for donations of store purchased baked goods, healthy snacks, and bottled water.  We will also need some volunteers to help work the tables when their child is not performing.  Here is a link to a “Sign-up Genius” for all the needed help.
